Mosaics symbolize putting lives back together with
visit from Martha Wade to Xenia middle schools

Nationally known speaker and child advocate Martha Wade recently visited both Central and Warner Middle Schools to share her message of healing to those who have lived with child molestation with her 'Mosaic Life" program.

Wade, the cousin of Xenia Police Department Officer Tim Roop, is the founder of "A Quarter Blue," a grassroots organization with four main ministries to curtail child abuse based in California.

During her presentation, Wade and the students created mosaic tiles from broken jewels, glass to illustrate how broken pieces can create a work of art. Wade shared that the tiles are symbolic of living a broken or mosaic life and the process of healing for a beautiful life.

Her presentation was sponsored by Greene County FOP #37; Greene County Sheriff's Youth Fund, Xenia Elks #668, Xenia Kiwanis and Xenia Rotary.
